CTC007703 - Automated Tests Developer

Flexible hourly rate
Telecommuting: Hybrid 40% face-to-face (2 days a week), office centre-ville de montreal

Your Role

Support the planning and overall integration of automated and manual testing activities within the framework of technology solution implementation projects in an Agile model.
Implement automated tests according to the strategy in place
Develop application test automata using our Frameworks integrated with continuous testing (CT)
Contribute to the enhancement of the existing automation framework
Design and execute manual tests as required
Propose and influence the definition and evolution of QA practices and processes
Participate in the implementation of test automation tools in a DevOps context and recommend appropriate tools
Ensure the quality of deliverables and compliance with deadlines, while managing risks
Monitor quality activities on a daily basis, including test development and execution, bug management and progress reporting.

Requirements

3 to 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance and automated test development
Proficiency in one or more popular object-oriented programming languages (Java, .Net, etc.)
Mastery of SDLC and project delivery methods
Ability to work with tools such as RestAssured, Selenium, Applitool, SauceLab, X-Ray
Experience of a development environment (Eclipse, IntelliJ, IDEA...)
Excellent knowledge of APIs or microservices, and of formats such as XML, json, etc.
Experience of delivering solutions in Agile mode.
Thoroughness, attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
