The Zone Leader, Access Network Operations, plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the performance of wireless networks within a specific geographical area. This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills to ensure the delivery of high-quality wireless services to customers
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Performance Management -

Achieve and maintain targeted performance KPIs for the wireless access components of all networks within the zone

Monitor and analyze network performance metrics, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure service quality and reliability
- Project Execution and Delivery -
-
Lead and manage cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects and programs within the zone

Set project priorities, allocate resources, and ensure timely completion of projects within budget and scope
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication -

Effectively communicate network status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders, including senior management, internal teams, and external partners

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure project success
- Resource Management and Forecasting -

Ensure proper resource capacity forecasting for all functional groups involved in network operations

Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as needed to meet operational requirements
- Risk Management -

Identify and analyze risks associated with network operations and project implementation
-
Develop and implement contingency measures to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity
- Process Analysis and Improvement -

Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the zone, driving cycle time reductions and operational efficiencies

Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement changes to enhance network performance
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
-
5+ years of experience in wireless network operations or a related technical role.
-
Strong understanding of wireless network technologies, protocols, and standards.
-
Proven project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Additional Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Lean, Waterfall).

Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Ability to work with large data sets and perform data analysis.
