Project Overview:
The SAP GAN/IDM project (Digital Access Management/Cloud Identity Services) involves replacing the current SAP IDM environments with an updated version. The consultant will support the IT Vice-Presidency team in defining the solution architecture and setting up the non-production and production environments of SAP IDM. This initiative is part of the Synapse program, aimed at modernizing SAP infrastructure to align with best practices in the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries.

As this project takes place in a controlled environment related to pharmaceutical production, the consultant will be required to complete internal regulatory training, which is included in the project hours.


Responsibilities / Responsabilités

  • Assist the architecture team in designing the SAP IDM platform.

  • Provide technical advice on technology choices.

  • Conduct proof-of-concepts for key functionalities.

  • Participate in selecting the appropriate configurations.

  • Implement and configure SAP IDM functionalities alongside system administrators.

  • Contribute to test strategy development and execution.

  • Automate testing procedures where applicable.

  • Document all aspects of the solution following organizational templates.


Required Skills / Compétences requises

✔ Experience with SAP IDM 7.2 (Task Groups, Pass, Repositories, Jobs, Schedules, API v1/v2).
✔ SQL (Basic queries, table joins).
✔ Active Directory/Azure AD Entra for identity registry integration.
✔ Knowledge of Java (understanding exception messages, programming is a plus).
✔ PowerShell (executing commands, scripting is an asset).
✔ Experience with DevOps/Tricentis for automation.
✔ Experience in configuring IaaS servers under VMware.
✔ Cloud deployment for SAP Tenant configurations.
✔ Experience documenting operational guides and training materials.
✔ Experience with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).


Candidate Profile / Profil du candidat

✔ 5+ years of experience with SAP IDM and related technologies.
✔ 3+ years experience documenting technical processes independently.
✔ 3+ years experience scripting in PowerShell, Python, or Java for automation.
✔ 3+ years experience using Active Directory & Azure AD Entra for identity management.
✔ Previous experience in controlled environments (pharmaceutical, regulated industries) is a plus.
✔ SAP certifications are an asset.
✔ Ability to work autonomously and collaborate within a project team.
✔ English is an asset for reading and discussing vendor documentation.
