CTC007731 - Network Administrator

French compulsory and English an asset.
Telecommuting: Hybrid. 3 days telecommuting and 2 days in the office in downtown montreal.
Possibility of on-call duty? Yes, the manager prefers a candidate who is open to conversion to permanent in the future.

Your role

Diagnose problematic situations and intervene in the resolution of complex problems by ensuring the implementation of permanent corrective measures, with a view to continuous improvement. As a Senior Analyst (N3), support the N2 team during critical incidents.
Supervise the production launch of new network infrastructure solutions;
Analyze network infrastructure change requests, assess impacts on existing applications, suggest and implement appropriate modifications;
Understand business issues, identify stakeholders' network infrastructure needs and propose technological solutions to support their activities;
Carry out various complex analyses, identify gaps and make recommendations to optimize system efficiency and solve major problems;
Provide management with all information needed to influence network infrastructure orientations and strategies.

Prerequisites

Bachelor's or Master's degree related to the business sector and 10 years' relevant experience
Good experience of troubleshooting networks in an AWS Cloud environment
Good incident resolution experience in a Cisco environment
Very good knowledge of network technologies/concepts (Switch, Router, Firewall, WAN accelerator, VPN, Load-Balancer, F5, DNS, Proxy, VoIP, QoS)
Knowledge of network tools (Wireshark, Zabbix, etc.)
Experience in the financial sector desirable
Excellent ability to work in complex environments and assimilate complex technological concepts
CCNP certification desirable
AWS certification desirable
ITIL certification desirable
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence and interact with a variety of stakeholders (technical, senior management, etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-starter, results-oriented and autonomous
