Job Description:

The consultant is responsible for analyzing detailed requirements, programming and documenting solutions, evaluating effort and complexity, and conducting unit and integrated testing. They will also support and maintain developed SAP applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze impacts and evaluate effort for changes or new functionality.

  • Design and document program and component architecture in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and BTP environments.

  • Program functions, screens, reports, and processes according to best practices.

  • Plan, document, and perform unit tests and participate in integrated testing.

  • Recommend appropriate solutions in collaboration with business analysts.

  • Participate in test strategy and scenario planning.

  • Provide technical support to address software issues.

  • Stay updated on trends and share best practices.

  • Collaborate with security analysts for SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and BTP, if necessary.

  • Participate in ad hoc projects and change requests (analysis, specifications, testing, support).


Required Qualifications:

  • College or university degree in IT (or equivalent experience).

  • 3-5 years of relevant programming experience in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and BTP environments.

  • Strong knowledge of ABAP and Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).

  • Familiarity with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS).

  • Experience developing SAP Fiori interfaces.

  • Knowledge of "Clean Core" principles.

  • Experience with Vue.js/Node.js/JavaScript, Core Data Services (nice to have).

  • Experience with REST/OData APIs and SAP SuccessFactors integration (nice to have).

  • Proficiency in French (reading, writing, speaking) – mandatory.

  • Functional proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).


Specific Details:

  • 100% remote work, with occasional on-site presence in Montreal as needed.

  • Work within the Montreal time zone (EST).

  • Tasks may include operational requests for production systems (fixes, improvements, upgrades).
