Description

This position is to cover off the Accounts Receivable Manager role (maternity leave). Ideal candidate can learn or have experience with SAP. Excellent Excel and collaboration skills.

Answers are pretty much the same as other position but is a more senior position in the sense experience required. SAP experience is ideal to be able to understand the data quicker but if quick learner open to that.

Locations being considered - since Hybrid strong preference is Mississauga

Bilingual not required but an excellent asset since extended team are bilingual.

Hybrid role – currently 3 days a week in office-Mon day to Wednesday

Typical day to day in this role.   --normal business hours, few team meetings, most time on computer.

Projects you will be working on – finance projects, reconciling A/R’s

Potential for extension or to hire full time depends on leader’s direction, and if candidate is strong and availability of position.

Responsible for the coordination, preparing and delivery of financial reporting and analysis.

Responsible for the preparation of journal entries and maintenance of accounting records.

Assist with the co-ordination of month end close activity.

Responsible for the timely completion of complex account analysis and reconciliations.

Prepare operating expense variance analysis.

Maintain appropriate controls for financial reporting.

Qualifications include:

• Accounting designation (CGA, CA, CMA) with 5 years experience in an accounting environment;

• Strong computer skills (Excel and Word);

• Expert in Financial Systems;

• Strong attention to detail.
