• Term of office: 12 months renewable

• Telecommuting: 2 days per week at downtown Montreal office - mandatory

• Bilingualism: French: mandatory. English: an asset

As an SDET Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and carrying out manual tests on the various applications of the IT Delivery sector.

You will work closely with the various stakeholders to plan, execute and monitor the testing of the content under your responsibility. You will also be responsible for presenting test progress and results.

Your role :

• Gather and analyze relevant information (user stories, functional documentation) concerning assigned content in order to prepare test plans.

• Participate in the development, implementation and execution of appropriate test plans according to specifications

• Execute manual tests

• Monitor test progress, and correct and diagnose any anomalies encountered.

• Ensure good test coverage, and guarantee the quality of delivered versions

• Work to improve and optimize quality assurance practices (tools, methods, etc.).

• Influence the scope, direction and method of testing required on your project.

• Work closely with other team members: developers, analysts, PO, SM...

• Report any anomalies found during testing

• Be able to help other, less experienced analysts on the team, so you can easily escalate issues and even resolve them

• Participate in a team and work in agile mode.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree or other industry-related degree and four years' relevant experience

• 3 to 5 years' experience in the same function or equivalent relevant experience

• Mastery of business processes

• Previous experience in Agile delivery, a strong asset

• Knowledge of the payment industry, an asset

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

• Excellent synthesis, analysis and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently

• Good time management skills and ability to meet production deadlines

• Good oral and written communication skills
