Senior project manager that has IT, Finance Transformation & Labour experience. Candidate should have experience with data and technology but also Organizational Design, Communication / Change as well


Allowed locations? Mississauga, Montreal, Halifax


Bilingual required? No


Is remote work available? Any required days in office? Hybrid (at least 2 days a week in office)


What are the top three functions of this role? (Top duties the contractor will be accountable for)

- Project Management Support Finance Operations specific to Labour (day to day PM and execution)

- Drive transformation / change and roadmap activities with data and technology

- Some BA work / experience


What are the top 3 skills sets you want to see on a candidate’s resume?

- Senior level Project Manager with experience in Agile framework

- Strong communication skills

- Experience in Large/multiple organizational change projects


Which qualifications are essential, if any, for the role?

- Project Management experience in Finance (specific to Labour), Finance Transformation & IT)

- Experience Organizational Design, Communication / Change

- Technology experience

Senior project manager that has IT, Finance Transformation & Labour experience. Candidate should have experience with data and technology but also Organizational Design, Communication / Change as well


Responsible for managing all aspects of the project management life cycle including project scoping, resource assignment, project plan development, project tracking, monitoring and reporting.

Develop and maintain all project documentation (Project Plan, Issue and Action Logs, Risk Management, Communication Plan, Status Reports, ...etc.).

Maintain the Project Management Office Library with lessons learned database, and apply lessons learned to all initiatives.

Assist in the development and implementation of templates, procedures and processes as part of the continuous improvement process.

Qualifications include:

- Demonstrated experience in project management delivering project solutions;

- Experience in managing multiple projects at a time;

- Expert in using MS Suite including Microsoft Project;

- Knowledge of proven industry best practices and standards;

- and Project Management designation an asset but not required.
