Typical day for this role:
Check emails and slack, review and attend meetings, and prioritize tasks
Data exploration and cleaning/model development/data analysis
Collaboration with teams members, data engineers, MLops, project managers, stakeholders, external partners such as Google
Documentations/slides deck building
Top 3 Skills:
Machine Learning, AI and Optimization - especially experience in Dynamic Pricing or building prediction models considering (competing) market share and growth factors
Proficiency in Python, SQL and Cloud platform– especially Big Query, GCP
Proficiency in developing production quality pipelines to automate deployment
Around 4 interview rounds: HR, Technical assessment, Hiring manager, Director
There are 2 revenue management related projects. Each contract can support one project
Ads Rate Optimizer: automate pricing based on demand and inventory levels to maximize yield for Bell Media
TV Audience Predictor: Predict AMA(average minute audience) for each Bell Media Conventional/Specialty TV show
Responsible for designing and developing predictive models and algorithms to analyze and interpret complex data sets. They use their expertise in statistics, machine learning, and data mining to identify patterns and insights in data, and communicate their findings to stakeholders. They also collaborate with other data professionals to develop data-driven solutions to business problems.
