Description
Mission Manage one or more projects, ensuring alignment with IT project programs while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction for the City of Sherbrooke.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, develop, monitor, and adjust project resources and activities.

Manage priorities, scope, change management, internal and external human resources, capacity management, security, and cost tracking.

Define project scope, develop timelines, and identify required resources.
-
Organize projects, build teams, prepare detailed plans, and draft project organization manuals.
-
Identify and manage project risks and key success factors.
-
Track progress, provide status updates, and advise management on key decisions.
-
Lead project team activities and coordinate involved partners.
-
Ensure deliverables comply with defined methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
-
Organize and lead project meetings.
-
Define communication plans and manage stakeholders.
-
Ensure project quality and smooth implementation within the client's environment.
Required Skills
-
Mastery of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile).

Understanding of performance indicators and continuous improvement (Lean).

Expertise in project planning, execution, and monitoring (budget, timelines, risks, communications).

Strong problem-solving and conflict management skills.
-
Proficiency in French (oral and written); English is an asset.

Experience & Education

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT project manager.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Project Management, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

PMP and Agile certifications are assets.
