Hybrid - 2 days in office

What are the top three functions of this role? (Top duties the contractor will be accountable for)

Creating SRS documents, Reading and understanding technical documentation, analyzing project scope and understanding impacts to the data warehouse.

What are the top 3 skills sets you want to see on a candidate’s resume?

BA experience writing SRS documents, reading/writing SQL, Telecom or similar big company experience

Which qualifications are essential, if any, for the role?

BA experience, SQL, some basic understanding of the ETL process.

Testing in the interviews?

Hacker rank SQL based assessment might be sent to the candidates to test their ability to understand problems and turn them into simple SQL code.

Any potential to hire full time?

Always a possibility but at this time there are no open headcounts.

Job Description:

3-6 years experience.

May be an expert in one or more of the major areas ie: process modelling or have a good well rounded general exposure.

May supervise more junior analysts.

Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems;

Evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements;

Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements, and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems;

Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.

Works under the direction of a project manager.
