Description
The IT Technician – Systems Management plays a key role in administering and optimizing the IT infrastructure at CHU de Québec – Université Laval. They are responsible for managing Group Policy (GPOs), Active Directory, software deployment via SCCM and scripting, and ensuring the configuration and continuity of digital solutions.

Create, manage, and maintain Group Policy (GPOs) to ensure compliance and system security.

Administer and optimize the enterprise Active Directory, managing users and permissions.

Oversee and enhance Windows Server 2012-2022 environments.

Deploy applications and configurations via Microsoft SCCM to ensure efficient system and server management.

Automate management and configuration tasks using scripting (VBS, PowerShell, etc.).

Diagnose and resolve technical configuration issues.

Implement fixes to ensure continuous operations and the performance of digital solutions.

Collaborate with technical teams to identify and address network and system issues.

Contribute to the improvement and security of clinical information systems (a plus).

Ensure adherence to best practices in infrastructure and Windows service management.
Requirements:
-
Recognized and relevant experience in IT infrastructure management.

Expertise in Microsoft SCCM and Active Directory.

Proficiency in Windows Server 2012-2022 and MS-SQL administration.

Excellent understanding of microcomputing and IT systems.

Expertise in clinical information systems (a plus).
