Description
The Digital Health division is looking to fill a Project Manager position supporting the implementation of the new health information system (HIS). Specifically, we are looking for upto three (3) project managers to provide project oversight for the execution of our third-party applications, that are required to interface with the core HIS. The project managers will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the executable deliverable across all third-parties to ensure they are moving forward on the critical path of the larger HIS project.
The Project Managers, reporting into the Project Management Lead, will be required to work with various Business Owners, program teams, project team members, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to complete key deliverables as required by the project.
It is anticipated that the work to be performed will be done so remotely.
All Project Managers must be available during the working hours of 8am to 5pm Newfoundland Standard Time. Actual time will depend on project needs to a maximum of 7 hours per day

Role and Responsibilities
Working closely with the HIS project team:
-
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with project sponsors, project team members, and other internal and external stakeholders (including client’s executive, provincial government, patient advisory committees, and professional boards and colleges).

Provide direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the organization and various stakeholder groups.

Develop, manage, and report on schedules, costs, resources, risks, and project objectives at various levels of the organization, including project governance tables.

Lead project teams to meet objectives and stakeholders’ expectations providing direction and clear communication of the vision for project success.

Develop and execute risk management and mitigation plans.

Balance competing goals of project stakeholders to achieve consensus on project outcomes while maximizing business value of the project.

Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the province to ensure successful adoption in addition to a successful transition to operations.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Health, IT or related field.

Minimum of five years’ experience in direct Project Management supplemented with demonstrated experience in, but not limited to:

Agile project development and execution
-
Leading large-scale projects and teams
-
QA and testing methodologies
-
Experience in digital health related projects is preferred.

Knowledge of project management principles, standards, and processes.

In-depth knowledge of both traditional and agile project management tools, techniques, and methods.
