Role Objective:
The Project Control Officer (PCO) is responsible for managing performance, monitoring, and controlling projects within the SAFe methodology framework. The PCO will coordinate activities between different teams, ensure adherence to deadlines, budgets, and objectives, while supporting the implementation of agile processes within Program Increments (PI) and Agile Release Trains (ART).
Key Responsibilities:

Project Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for projects, evaluate risks and delays, and propose corrective actions in collaboration with agile teams.

Schedule Management: Plan and coordinate project deadlines, ensuring synchronization of activities between teams and managing dependencies.

Budget Monitoring: Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure adherence to budget constraints. Identify variances and recommend adjustments.

Stakeholder Communication: Ensure smooth communication with stakeholders, including Product Owners, Release Train Engineers (RTE), and other key players. Provide regular reports on progress, risks, and outcomes.

Support SAFe Implementation: Assist in the setup and management of agile processes during PI Planning, System Demos, and SAFe ceremonies. Collaborate with teams to ensure adherence to SAFe best practices.

Continuous Improvement: Propose initiatives to enhance project management, processes, and tools to optimize agile team performance and product delivery.

Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and monitor project risks, implementing preventive or corrective actions to ensure success.
Desired Profile:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in an agile and SAFe environment.

Extensive knowledge of agile and SAFe methodologies with large-scale project management experience.

Strong skills in scheduling, budget tracking, and performance monitoring.

Proficiency in project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

SAFe or PMP certification is a plus.
