Our customer operates networks for public safety organizations. The nature of the work is diversified and requires autonomy on the part of employees, both in terms of knowledge development and work organization. The incumbent will report to the CCR Team Leader. His/her main task is to support and monitor the government's P25 radiocommunication network, on both network and terminal (user) equipment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in maintaining the availability of voice and data telecommunications networks (25%)
Analyze and diagnose faults on complex systems using remote monitoring instruments (10%)
Create, monitor and complete trouble tickets (10%)
Allocate resources to maintain network availability (10%)
Communicate frequently with customers, users, subcontractors and colleagues (20%)
Identify, analyze and make recommendations for improvements related to recurring problems (10%)
Manage configuration of user equipment as requested (10%)
Produce network management reports (5%)

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE FOR THIS JOB

Knowledge / Skills :

DEC in electronics, electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent
Competence in network computing and IP technology
Knowledge of communications network types and principles
Ability to transfer acquired knowledge to colleagues
