Description

The Technology Projects and Products Department (SPPT) needs to add a technology architecture resource to its Technology Architecture and Orientation Sector (SATO) - specialist technology architect profile - Linux and monitoring component, in order to support it in taking on multiple tasks for these technology infrastructure services.

In some cases, activities related to this request for assistance will be carried out in collaboration with other directorates and departments of the Information Resources and Digital Transformation Branch (DGRITN).

Expected contribution related to this request for action (RFI)

The assigned resource will act as a specialist architect for SATO. More specifically, as a Linux specialist architect and a surveillance specialist architect.

Expertise required

In order to respond to this request, SPPT wishes to retain the services of a resource with the following skills:

Very good knowledge of Linux environments
Good knowledge of Windows Server
Good knowledge of monitoring tools, mainly Azure tools (Azure Logs Analytics, Sentinelle, Azure Monitor...)
Experience of migration projects (Windows Server and Linux)
Ability to write architecture documents
Experience in effort evaluation during architecture work
Autonomy in a teleworking context

Teleworking policy :

To comply with the teleworking policy applied to the Technology Projects and Products Department (SPPT), face-to-face service delivery is mandatory on Wednesdays for full-time resources in the greater Quebec City area.

The activities and deliverables to be carried out as part of this request for assistance include the following:

Develop and write the technological architecture of the selected solutions
Describes the solutions in terms of technological infrastructures and their constituent components
refers to the specialist architect, service integrator or customer integrator, depending on the context of the project
Reports deviations from scope and directions to the integrating architect
Communicates issues encountered to the integrating architect
Provides the integrating architect with regular follow-up on the project in progress.
Participates in the relevant architectural tables
