Onsite or remote: Minimum 2 days onsite per week at the customer's Montreal office or as required by the team.

We are looking for a Senior Developer with significant experience in Java, Springboot, Python, SQL, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate should also have a background in finance and strong analytical and analysis skills. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our financial software products, ensuring that they meet the high standards set by our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain financial software products using Java, Springboot, Python, and SQL.

• Collaborate with the BAs and the PO to gather and prioritize requirements for software development projects.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for software deployment.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

• Analyze and troubleshoot software issues and provide solutions.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for software products.

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in software development with expertise in Java, Springboot, Python, and SQL.

• Experience with AWS : EKS, lambda, step functions

• Experience with Camunda development

• Experience working in financial markets (market events would be an asset) and understanding of financial concepts.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, Sonar, Bitbucket).

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
