Reporting to: IT Solutions Manager

Job Description:

The consultant will primarily work with SAP MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and IM (Inventory Management) modules. They will analyze, configure, and optimize SAP solutions in an SAP ECC6 and S/4HANA environment while participating in business process improvements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolve incidents, problems, and change requests.

  • Recommend best business practices and propose optimal solutions.

  • Gather and analyze business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

  • Participate in planning and estimating efforts for activities and deliverables.

  • Actively engage in workshops to design tailored solutions.

  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

  • Configure the SAP MM, SD, and IM systems.

  • Document configurations and technical specifications.

  • Develop, execute, and document test cases.

  • Participate in module upgrades and patches.

  • Provide expertise and support to team members and end users.


Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in IT or management (or equivalent experience).

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP ECC6 MM, SD analysis and configuration.

  • 3-5 years of experience in SAP MM, SD, IM with S/4HANA.

  • 1-2 SAP S/4HANA project participations (nice to have).

  • SAP certification for relevant modules (nice to have).

  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (nice to have).

  • Dual expertise in IT and business domains.

  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and leadership.

  • Experience in solving complex problems and optimizing solutions.

  • Strong teamwork and client-oriented mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

  • Excellent writing skills.

  • Fluency in French (spoken and written) is mandatory; functional English is recommended.


Specific Details:

  • 100% remote, with occasional on-site presence in Montreal based on project needs.

  • Work within the Eastern Canada (EST) time zone.

  • Most requests are operational, related to production systems (fixes, enhancements, upgrades).
