Job Description:

The Senior .NET Organic Architect will be responsible for defining, documenting, and optimizing software components for transactional and informational Web applications. They will manage architecture rules, oversee solution deployment, and support technical teams while ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and document detailed architecture components.

  • Define and update organic architecture rules.

  • Manage component documentation and tracking in the architecture dictionary.

  • Support functional architects, development analysts, and programmers.

  • Ensure that developments comply with project scope and requirements.

  • Conduct proof-of-concept (PoC) and performance testing.

  • Develop the deployment strategy and prepare the operational documentation.

  • Provide support for testing and production deployment.

  • Conduct impact analysis and propose improvements.

  • Perform quality control of code and enforce development standards.

  • Conduct technological monitoring to identify trends and improvements.

  • Ensure knowledge transfer to CNESST-designated resources.

  • Handle any additional responsibilities related to a Senior .NET Organic Architect.


Required Qualifications:

  • 12 years of experience in information technology, including 2 years in Web programming.

  • 5 years of experience as an Organic Architect for transactional and informational Web applications using:

  • 1 year of experience in responsive Web development ("responsive design").

  • 1 year of experience with SQL Server or Oracle.

  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft .NET Core 6+ and Microsoft Blazor.

  • 2 years of experience using a structured development methodology, such as:

  • 2 years of experience in organic architecture using Visual Studio 2017 or later.

  • Experience with at least 4 of the following technologies:

  • ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET, C# .NET, MVC.NET (v5 or later), TFS, JavaScript, jQuery, WCF.

  • P+ de DMR, Macroscope, the Green Guide, DID, GPS, or Agile.

  • SSRS

  • BizTalk (version 2016 or later)

  • Bootstrap

  • Azure DevOps Portal

  • REST API

  • GitHub

  • AJAX architecture


Specific Details:

  • 100% remote work, with possible occasional travel based on project needs.

  • Work within the Eastern Canada (EST) time zone.

  • French (spoken and written) is mandatory.
